MAD Accuracy Assessment

At this point, i've completed a spatial accuracy assessment of MAD by comparing sample point locations of managed areas boundaries on MAD to those same point coordinates on USGS 7.5' Quadrangles. I calculated a linear error distance between points pairs in meters using the Pythagorean theorum. Average positional error was found to be 728 meters.

Information about the accuracy assessment can currently be found in chapter 4 of my Master's thesis.

A more succinct version of the accuracy findings will be available as I complete a journal article describing these findings. This article will be linked here when complete.
