Spherekit: The Spatial Interpolation Toolkit

Welcome to the home page for Spherekit, the spatial interpolation toolkit. Spherekit was developed at the National Center for Geographic Information and Analysis (NCGIA) at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). Developers include: Cort Willmott (University of Delaware), Rob Raskin (Jet Propulsion Laboratory), Chris Funk (NCGIA), Scott Webber (University of Delaware), and Mike Goodchild (NCGIA).

Version 1.0 of Spherekit was made available on August 10th, 1997. It is presently available in a generic source format and a binary distribution for decAlphas and SGI machines.
