Grants are not made to individuals or religious organizations for
religious purposes, or to fraternal or social organizations. Rockwell's
funding priorities emphasize primary, secondary and higher educational
institutions or programs that promote interest or research in
engineering, mathematics, science and technology. Rockwell also provides
funding for health and human services, civic and cultural arts
organizations. Grant requests are evaluated at all Rockwell locations.
Depending on the amount of the request, contributions are made by local
management or recommendations are made to the Rockwell International
Corporation Trust Committee. Organizations providing services in
communities with Rockwell facilities should contact the local community
relations administrator to initiate a grant request or to receive grant
guidelines. Contribution requests should include a description of the
organization and project, total fund raising target, amount sought from
Rockwell as well as the following information: a description of the
service area and beneficiaries; a statement of need, objectives and
strategy for meeting the objectives; current operating budget; audited
