The Foundation concentrates its resources on grants to institutions of 
higher education and to educational programs of major cultural 
institutions. Within higher education, priority is given to projects 
dealing with undergraduate or graduate business education. The Foundation 
encourages brief letters of initial inquiry prior to submission of formal 
proposals. The current procedure is to accept proposals for project 
grants up to November 1, with notification of decisions in late February 
or early March of the following calendar year. The Foundation, in rare 
cases only, will consider proposals outside this time frame. The 
Foundation does not make grants for capital purposes or grants directly 
to individuals.
